Embody Your Wellness: Foundations is a group coaching program for career overachievers who want work-life balance. 

In 10 weeks, I’ll help you develop a mindfulness practice that helps you sleep, eat, and move healthfully.

It’s time to shift from being overcommitted at work to making more time for yourself and the things you love.

You are a high-achiever at work and feel a lot of success in your professional life…but that doesn’t seem to be translating to your personal life. You’re feeling really stretched thin. You know you need to do more self-care but you don’t know where to start or where to find time. Every extra minute seems to be dedicated to work. When are you supposed to workout, color, or do any of those self-care activities you keep seeing on Instagram?

 

It might feel impossible, but THERE IS TIME. I’ll help you find it. Let’s take the first step in starting to take care of yourself, and get back to feeling healthy and whole - and happier in both your personal and professional life.

 

We’ll work together to Embody Your Wellness so you can:

  • Start getting more sleep!! A solid sleep routine improves memory, problem-solving skills, emotional regulation / decreases depression, improves appetite regulation and lowers risk of weight gain.

  • Nourish yourself with foods that encourage proper digestion and nutrient absorption, promote ideal body weight and help you develop a healthy relationship with food.

  • Incorporate healthy movement to boost your brain health to reduce your risk of chronic disease.

  • Build a supportive Community to keep up your goals.

Hi, I'm Christina and I've earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Professional Master of Biotechnology, Certificate in Integrative Wellness Coaching, and am currently completing coursework toward a Ph.D. in Mind-Body Medicine specializing in Integrative and Functional Nutrition. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and a certified National Board for Health & Wellness coach.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in the Bay Area, CA. My dad’s family is from Longview, Texas, and my mom is from Igbaras, Iloilo, Philippines. I am currently reading Ta-Nehisi Coates’s debut novel, "The Water Dancer," and find inspiration in the brilliant way he depicts the slave narrative. Enjoying food with family and friends makes me the happiest :) I love food, especially the experience of eating it. Sinigang, a Filipino soup, is the dish that is making my mouth water right now! The tamarind makes it sour and oh so good.

I believe that each of us can be well at every stage of life, even with a full plate. I have been there and I consider it an honor and privilege to bear witness to my client’s growth and transformation. There is wisdom in the body. When care and attention are directed toward the body, breath, sensations, thoughts, and feelings, the possibility to have more energy, productivity, peace of mind, fulfillment in life, feel less stressed, and connect with more joy every day is doable. I want you to meet the better version of yourself and step into the life they don’t need a vacation from.
